On-Site Refresh & Repair

Restoration care, without moving the furniture.

Many fine pieces don't need to leave the house to look their best again. Gene comes to your home and works where the furniture stands: cleaning away years of buildup, reviving dull and tired finishes, touching up scratches and worn edges, and taking care of the small repairs that make a piece usable again.

It's a gentler, more affordable choice than a full restoration, and it's well suited to dining sets, case pieces, and antiques that are too heavy or too fragile to move. If a piece needs more than an on-site visit, Gene will tell you plainly and explain your options.

Ruelle Heirloom Market™

A better place than a yard sale for the pieces your family won't keep.

When families downsize or settle a parent's estate, fine furniture too often ends up on Facebook Marketplace next to particleboard, priced by guesswork. The Heirloom Market is an online shop for East Texas heirlooms, and every piece is reviewed by Gene, a certified appraiser, before it's listed.

Your name never appears. Each seller gets a private code, and you can choose whether to show "Estate of" for provenance. Buyers contact you through the site, and you complete the sale with them directly. You pay a flat listing fee for 30 days on the market, and a commission only when something sells.
